I just received 8 phone calls from the "Venmo Fraud Department" claiming someone was trying to change the password on my Venmo account. They tried to get me to provide a code they sent from the actual Venmo texting number. I immediately hung up and called Venmo customer service. The representative informed me that Venmo would never call users, as they aren’t allowed. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CODES!
