MySpace.com Malware  E-mail With Link to Malicious Website www.fcsotomasyon.com

I received an e-mail this morning which appeared as if it came from the address "noreply @message.myspace.com" with the subject: "Morwen Edwards has sent you a new private message." The e-mail stated that "Morwen Edwards", whoever that is, has sent me a new private message. There is a blue "View message" button in the e-mail, which when clicked, takes you to this malicious website "www.fcsotomasyon.com", which uses Javascript to download malware onto your computer.

Please note that, although the message has a "from address" of message.myspace.com, it was not sent from myspace but was instead spoofed.

If you see this e-mail in your inbox, delete it. If you want to view your myspace messages, go to www.myspace.com directly by typing the address in your browser, login and view from there.
