The email message below: "A2554 Notice : eBay Registration Suspension - Section 9," is a fake and a phishing scam. You should not follow the instructions in the message because the email was NOT sent by eBay. It was instead sent by cyber-criminals whose intentions are to trick their potential victims into submitting their eBay usernames and passwords on a fake eBay website.

Per the User Agreement, Section 9, we may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us.to remove any limitations, you are required to confirm your eBay registration by following the link below :

Clicking on the link in the phishing email message above, will take the potential victims to a fake eBay website where they will be asked to enter their username and password. Once the requested information is submitted, it will be sent to the scammers behind the phishing email, who will use it to hijack the victims' accounts.
