Scamming - Fraud
Online users, do not follow instructions in emails like the one below that ask you to click on a link to revalidate your accounts. This is because the emails are being sent by cybercriminals. Remember, always go directly to your email account's website and sign-in. And, once you have signed in, you will be notified of updates and changes that you need to do. Doing this will prevent you from clicking on links that go to phishing websites that steal online accounts.

Online users who have already been tricked by the scam are asked to change their passwords before their accounts are hijacked by cybercriminals and used fraudulently.

Here is another scam: "Email Account Re-validation Wed 12/13/2017 9:06 PM From: "Mail Admin" Dear User, Your email (), has used up the storage limit of 99.9 gigabytes as defined by your Administrator. You will be blocked from sending and receiving messages if not re- validated within 48hrs. Kindly click on your email below for quick re-validation and additional storage will be updated automatically Regards, E-mail Support 2017."
