"Google Partner Awareness Team" Scams

The fake email message below, which claims that the "Google Partner Awareness Team" is donating thousands or millions of dollars to lucky recipients is just one of the many scams being sent by cyber criminals to potential victims. The fake email message tricks the recipients into sending their personal information and subsequently money, by claiming they need to do so in order to receive their donation or prize. But, there is no such "Google Partner Awareness Team" and Google will never ask online users to send their personal information via an email message.

Google Partner Awareness Team Scams

The scam will ask the recipients to send their personal information and subsequently ask them to send money in order to receive their so-called prize. But, once the scammers receive the money they will take it and disappear, leaving the victims hundreds or thousands of dollar broke. Also, the scammers will sell their victims' personal information to other scammers who will call and attempt to scam the same victims.
