1-410-100-001 Scam Text Messaged

I have received 2 text messages from 1-410-100-010 and one from 1-410-100-011 claiming that UPS has tried to deliver a package to my home but I wasn't there and there was no safe place to put it. They included a link of h637ups.com/?=jkq on one and c525ups.com/?=pvg on another. I haven't responded or tapped into the links. It didn't make sense to me, since I live nowhere near Maryland.

Again they send these but with hidden messages linked to Facebook

Received a scam text message at 9:59am - ATT unsuccessful payment attempt - call931286 (deleted before I got the other digits)

Same. I told them to s***w off and called them out and then blocked them!

Got a scam text from 1(410)100-004 asking me to call 2192490573.

I just got a text from this number saying I got a payment on hold from AT&T. And to call this number 352 729 1270. And there is no way to block the numbers. I knew it was scam, when I first saw it. So I didn't fall for it

Just got a text from this number saying I can get paid $400 if I use my car for advertising.

My husband just received a text from 1 (410) 100-003 today after posting a vehicle for sale on craigslist. I'm glad I found this site so that I know this is a scammers number. He has not responded to, not called the number as it looks suspicious anyways. Just wanted to share this information in case it can help someone in the future. DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY 1 (410) 100 *** numbers.

"I am getting suspicious texts from what appears to be from Wells Fargo. This is not the first time I have received texts or emails from Wells Fargo, but I have never notified anyone about it. We have not had a Wells Fargo account in 20 years, so I have no idea why they are singling us out.

The suspicious text number is from:
1 (410) 100-003
The strange thing is, that this is also the number that our Vet Pharmacy uses to let us know when our dogs prescription is ready.

Received a message in Spanish, that I had been selected to be a beneficiary of their donation, was asked to send my email address... of course I did not.

Looking through these, it’s definitely the same case, but mine is VERY f**ked up.

I thought it was some sort of prank, but then I googled the phone number just in case. Glad I did!

They texted me that I have an unclaimed inheritance, which I don’t. The text said it was from a Gerry Mallon, which is more likely a fake name. How the h**l did they get my number?!

Received a text from the same number saying my PNC bank account was on H0LD. I dont bank with PNC.

Received a text from the same number stating my Wells Fargo acct has been suspended and to follow a crazy link. I will go to WF tomorrow to report it.

Oct. 7, 2018 Received a text from 1-410-100-001 in response to a craigslist add FRM:sales reps. asking me to respond to an E-mail-dan.mcbride-bsdmail.com (did not respond in any way)

Is the E-mail address-
dan.mcbride-bsdmail.com associated with this phone number?

I get these text messages. The one I just received was from 1-410-100-002.

They always show a strange URL, currently hxxp:///23z.dh6.info?. What does this mean? I've tried a couple of times to enter these URLs in my browser. Are they able to steal data when I do this? The URLs never lead anywhere.

"CALL FROM 410-100-001 telling me my card had been disabled. I knew it was a scam, after checking my cards and finding none of the numbers they gave. I called out of curiosity and sure enough, they asked me to input my "ATM" card. I hung up!"

Received their text message this morning. I was suspicious of a scam. I checked all my cards first, and of course, none of my cards began with the number they gave.

I called the number out of curiosity anyway and the recorded message asked me to input my "ATM" number I was calling about. Of course I hung up immediately and did not input any numbers. BEWARE OF THIS CALL, ESPECIALLY SENIORS.

I just Received one from this# 1-410-100-001 but didn't click the link. Do not know how they got my information. be careful.

I just received a message from this same number regarding "my" american express card.

Which by the way I don't even have one. There was also a link to verify documents, but I obviously didn't open anything.

I got a message from this number a while ago that said I needed to finish my registration but didn’t give me a link and sent me a registration number and I didn’t remember registering for anything. Has anyone got one like that?

I did accidentally click on the site but I exited out of it as quickly as possible and reverse looked up the site and phone number.

Got one of these claiming to be from Wells Fargo client alerts.

Thank you for this information! I received a text message from the same number yesterday, looked up the number on my laptop, read this information and deleted the text without opening it. I research any number I do not recognize on my text alert messaging and delete it immediately if it appears to be a danger.

The action I took was to do a *67 call to the number.

I heard a automated voice asking me to enter my card number which of course I did not do.

I got a text from this number too just now, it was odd so instead of clicking it I looked the number up and found this here thread, my text was a little different and bugged out of sorts but this is exactly what it says. (I *** some parts to protect who ever would be dumb enough to look)

I received a text from 1-410-100-001 on May 20, 2018 which supposedly came "FRM: McCluskey, Paul".

The "SUBJ: Hello". "MSG: MY NAME IS SGT Winifred Gates. I need to talk to you please reply to ********" (and there was listed a Hotmail email listed after "please reply to").

Further down in the message, it mentions the "Phillipsburg School District". Needless to say, in keeping with a policy I set for myself 30 years ago, I did not answer this, emails I receive from a source I am not familiar with, and lastly but most importantly, ONE SHOULD NEVER OPEN ANY LINKS PUT OUT THERE FOR THE MASSES ON BLOGS THAT APPEAR ON NEWS BLOGS LIKE THOSE AT YAHOO OR FROM THOSE APPEARING ON FACEBOOK BY PEOPLE YOU DON'T PERSONALLY KNOW, AND EVEN THEN, BE VERY WARY.

If someone does so, they deserve what they get. If that sounded a bit harsh, it was meant to. I work in a very large company's "Privacy and Security Dept.", and my training deals with a lot of ways that the bad guys get information to use against a person, and those are the two biggest ways they get your information.

ALSO, KEEP IN MIND THE "TRIED AND TRUE" SAYING THAT NOTES "IF IT SOUNDS TO GO TO BE TRUE, IT MOST LIKELY IS JUST THAT.

I just got a text from this number, I will not click this.

2 FAKE text messages an hour apart from:

First, 1-410-100-001 supposedly "From: A.O.D." saying "Your A.O.D. card has been temporarily locked, for details call to 1-256-857-0835"

Second, 1-410-200-502 supposedly "From: A.O.D." saying "Your A.O.D. card has been temporarily locked, for details call to 1-256-857-0835"

I just booked with airbnb and immediately after started getting texts from 1(410)100-001 with MSG:

Currently feeling very insecure about airbnb...
