Day Dream Play is a Fraudulent Content Streaming Website

The website "www.daydreamplay.net" is a fraudulent content streaming website. The website, which claims it lets you watch movies, listen to music, play games and read books in one place, is similar to other fraudulent online media streaming websites. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions. Therefore, do not even think about contacting their customer support or service.

I have tried the website and it keeps charging my credit card, even though I have canceled my subscription before the trial period ended. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, games, software, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online users who have already subscribed to services on www.daydreamplay.net are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

It is possible because they have your card information.

I suspect the key issue, is obtain bank details through bank card numbers?

Must be careful with this site. They pretend to give free stuff but then suddenly it costs anyway.

I agree - don't touch them! They caught me with a Google-branded popup offering a new phone in return for answering a questionnaire. They then wanted €1 to cover postage for the 'phone. It was only after harvesting my credit card details that I discovered the €1 was a charge for being entered in a sweepstake and they had used my card details to sign me up for a monthly subscription. To add insult to injury, they then promptly charged my card with £7.50. Luckily, they're now blocked and I've organised a charge back from my credit card company. On investigation, they're based in the Czech Republic but use a New York number for what they laughingly describe as 'customer service'!

I realized only now that it is January 13th and February 12th 2019 I have been charged 67.95 each time for nothing. I understand what I saw as I do not have any subscription.

They took $1.41 from my bank account but I didn't sign up for this, they hacked me. What can I do?

    • March 8, 2019 at 12:20 AM by info

Open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. Then, cancel your credit card and get a new one to prevent further unwanted charges.

Hi, How do you track these fraudulent sites/people to get your money back or even stop them from taking more money from your account even though you cancelled your card and trial.

    • October 7, 2018 at 1:54 PM by info

Open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. And, if you have cancelled your credit card, they should not be able to charge you.

But, if they still taking money from you, contact your bank for help.

I just got a fraud alert from my credit card. There was a charge for $39.95 from Daydreamplay.net, and I had never heard of them before the credit card company called me.

Had to void that card, and company is sending a new one, but it will take 2 weeks. Major nuisance.

I have no idea how they got that charge on my card.
