Is Holland and Lieberman Lawsuit a Scam? Text Invitation Class Suit

I received a text from Anne Oliver from Holland&Lieberman. Stating that-(The reason l am reaching out is that you couId participate in The Hottest Oil Play Of The Decade: b41s.com/GO58)
This was copy and pasted word for word. So I searched the name and company and came across your website. So I thought I would post and let you know that they are now using a different approach to scam people. Because who wouldn't want to make more money investing into something. So I did notice that they used a l for "I" and a "I" for an "l" in "could". What is this for? Or is it a code of some kind? I was just curious if any one knew.

Got text saying, "Dear X*X, Im David Harris from Holland&Lieberman. The reason I am reaching out is that you could participate in The Most Exciting Oil Play Of The Decade: 8nysz4y.com/figo"

I received the same message from David on behalf of this ”law firm“

Received this.

Received the invite .. clicked the link and wad immediately notified of potential harm. Closed it immediately!

I have received numerous text messages that are phishing scams.

I have been getting a slew of text message scams including the holland & leiberman BS. Some of the others are:: This is Mark from UPS and we weren’t able to deliver your package. Then you’re supposed to click on the link. Other versions are: You have won an iPad from Amazon for being one of their best customers. The DMV is rewarding your great driving record with a gift of 600.00. Verizon is rewarding you and Apple is rewarding you, etc., etc. How can people get rid of these M****s ???

I have received two invitations to join a class action suit with Holland&Lebrowitz. (Lebrowitz with the "r')The name on both text messages is Amy Oliver.Two different phone numbers. 631-690-5989 I won't click on the text but did try calling this number and found that the voice mailbox had not been setup yet. I received the text from Sue Miller. Blocked the caller and did not follow the link. I’m from MS.

Received same text but name was Cathy Miller. Followed your advice and did not click the link and blocked the number.

I know these text and phone calls are scams, I block them but they always use a different number.It seems the frequency has increased.

Come on people. If this was a real thing they would not text with such atrocious spelling for 1 and for 2 they surely would not be sending a text. SMDH!!!!!

I too received this exact same message and thought to myself why would someone I dont even know be texting my cellphone about an oil find when I know nothing about investing in oil..then I immediately said this is a scam..Its gone from annoying getting spam calls and text messages to flat out aggravating and my phone gets at least 20 to 25 messages a day does anyone know how to stop receiving them..or is there an app to block them..they're driving me crazy...

This person says their name is Sue Robinson. Also I’ve seen where there is a Sue Davis.

I have never clicked the link. Wish someone would arrest them based on nuisance alone.

These texts are non-stop! It's so incredibly irritating! I haven't nor will I ever open anything from them. Stay safe!

I receive texts like this all day long. People offering you money for one reason or another. I block their numbers and delete their texts but they just come back with new numbers. So please don't ever click on the link provided, just block them if possible or delete them. It is a shame that the public isn't notified of all this so less people get hacked and taken advantage of.

I have been getting a bunch of scam texts lately, as many as 5-8 a day. If the company is owned by Alibaba, I now know how they got my name. I just want the stupid text to stop. Guess I will go to the source.
This kind of c**p, really is infuriating because the government will do nothing about it. How many people are getting ripped off by these scammers.

I received three different text 1. Kathy Oliver 2. David Smith 3. Amy Harris. (two of 3 first names are same as my mom and dads!)

Does anyone know how to get your number removed from their "list" or whatever? I block the numbers but I'm getting at least one text a day from different 803 area code numbers. It's getting really old.
