I keep on getting messages from IPS from them to get my parcels I Have screenshot and messages

I got the massage now saying I must take my order from cape Town de point .How and there's a fee of R36

Its a scam........... report, block etc...

I keep getting emails for parcels. I am not sure wether it is a scam. They keep saying that the parcels are I the warehouse. I have told them that I do not have any bank cards and that I will pay all charges when they deliver them. I never get any answers but they keep sending the emails. What do you think?

So I just deleted the email.

Here is one that I received 14/09/22 with my first name on the message. It is very tricky because I do buy from overseas sellers. However, I will treat it as a scam.

I recieved a sms on my phone 'notifying of a pending delivery', with a link to - hxxp://arbg.link/9N3Nhg.

Nevertheless, it directed me to a fake IPS site, requesting R350.00 customs fee.

They also said their site was developed by Google, maybe someone should tell Google, this as well.

IPS is a scam if you get any text check with the office if it’s true 99 times out of 100 it is a scam

I just received an IPS delivery message saying they have dropped a parcel at a local distribution centre then I had to follow instructions enter a code and pay $1.00 Australian to collect the parcel

I just got a text using my name, saying that my item was still pending at my local store and to please pick it up today with a link that takes you to this "IPS" website.

Got the same text today for a 3d time

I just received the exact same SMS. Curious about what it could be, I followed the links until I got to the payments page. Getting no precision on what could be this package, for which I owed customs fees, I googled the validity of the so-called IPS and landed on your website. Happy to have skipped the payment procedure, I would appreciate if you could inform me on how to ensure no recurrence of this fraudulent scam.

Try reporting the text to your service provider.

I love clicking on these, brave web browser allows me to sandbox the page and block trackers and scripts. I very often suspect Google is the culprit here as there is no way my private cell number keeps getting in the hands of scammers except in the case of a breach. Not to mention just having my private unlisted number is illegal on its own. Keep sending me bit.ly shortened addresses, I will only click on them in my secure browser, and I will not enter any info, but I'll accept the challenge. And no I haven't ordered anything. The scam probably would have been more successful if they had pinpointed what exactly was supposedly stopped at customs. But anything bit.ly is so often a scam I usually refuse to click these anyway, even if it is to a reputable company. To shorten the link like that masks the true origin, and that is shady on its own.

The broken English is amazing "We tried to transport your box, still there is a belated reckoning." Wut? But I tracked their website (made in the last week) to "Namecheap" and can at least report this one. They'll pop up again, but ONE DOWN.

This scam is so ridiculous! I just recieved a text from the “International Postal Service” that apparently my item is stuck at customs….the weird part is that I never ordered anything! Lol such a stupid scam! Do people actually fall for this nonsense? I’ve been receiving these scam texts for atleast 2 years if not longer, which makes me think that these scammers must have some success at retrieving peoples (actually victims) information which they use to make a profit. Because why else would they continue to keep sending these texts out. And actually how were they able to get my cell phone number??? That’s pretty scary!
