Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Walemedia located at www.walemedia.com is a fraudulent content streaming website. The website which claims that online users can watch movies, listen to music and play games, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com, and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website (walemedia), run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions.
They (walemedia) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.
Online user who have already subscribed to walemedia.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

I was also scammed by walemedia.com. All I wanted, was to see if the site was better for me that the one I am currently on. It turns out that it wasn`t, and that they had already taken the first months fee out of my bank when I checked my balance. I immediately went to my bank and told them what had happened. They said that as it has already been taken, there was nothing they could do about it, apart from prevent them taking anymore from my account. Please, don`t be a mug. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I found out the hard way
WARNING ! I filled my card details in to pay £1 to claim the phone , but I found out after I'd paid the £1 that it was a scam and more money would be taken from my account every month so I phoned my bank about it , and then I phoned the scammers to unsubscribe me. The £1 payment was pending so I'm waiting to see if it will stay in my account. I'm also checking my account to make sure they don't take any more money from it. DO NOT TAKE PART IN SURVEYS UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THEY ARE NOT SCAMMERS
can you unsubscribe me now and I want my money back that you took from me during the free trial. do not charge my account
We are not associated with the company, therefore, you need to go to your bank and open a dispute.
They charged my master card August 28, 2019, $68.27 and September 19, $ 68.18. I phoned Master card, they cancelled my card and will be taking those charges off my statement. A new master card will be issued.
The same happened to me half an hour ago! By walemedia! Will go to the bank first thing in the morning to try and do something, not having big hopes. Just want to let others know WALEMEDIA is a fraud and is operating... I am currently in Poland, they took 49.95 US, was supposed to be FREE!? Good luck to everyone...
Can someone tell me how I can keep this site from charging my visa card NZ$77.76 every month? I already owe Visa enough without this happening! I've read the online warnings about this site but nobody says how to stop payments.
First, open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded. Then, cancel your card and get a new one to prevent further unwanted charges.
Walemedia has taken my money of 58 euros from my account
When is somebody going to take on wall media, why is the government allowing this to occur and the banks to honor their request for card money, disgusting.
I was offered a price from Google, and instead, I was just charged 1.03 each, after they said that no charges would be made, by Walemedia and Cullgame. How do I cancel?
What if you enter credit details and it declines? Is this a clever way of feeding different credit card numbers in?
It is possible.
Walemedia came into my account for 50 euro, don't know how they got my details
There is a book on this site called "Widget Steps Escalators Cat Care!. As the authors and publishers of this book we can tell you that this is, indeed, a scam and also a copyright infringement for which we will be looking for redress! Rosec Publications.www.rosec.co.uk

It's too late for me, i've created an account to see how it works, never used it and after three months of paying 49,95 euro I found out it was this site walemedia who's been charging me. What is best to do now to get your money back?
To Get your money back might be complicated. Call your bank and block immediately your credit card and introduce an official claim. You must also cancel your account but blocking your card is more important and you must do it ASAP

I have noticed payments coming out of my card marked walemedia and have contacted my bank. They said I should contact walemedia. How do I do that?
Tell your bank the website is operated by online scammers who are tricking people into paying for a service that doesn't exist or is illegal.
Thye just took $70 from my account today ..bank has been notified, card is now blocked.
I have recently been swindled by walemedia.com and kazumedia.com. Have notified my Bank and cancelled the Credit Card. Concerned how do these people get it in the first place.
Wish I had seen this article before. Just checked credit card and they have been taking out $50 a month for 6 months without our knowledge. Bank can only refund 3 months. What a scam!! I should have been more vigilant with my card.
