Toilet Paper, Sanitizers, and PPE Fake Stores

Toilet Paper, Sanitizers, and PPE Fake Stores

Below are fake online stores that are taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic, claiming to sell Charmin toilet papers, hand sanitizers, and personal protective equipment(PPE). I placed an order through Kerenza and I didn’t get a confirmation so I emailed them with no reply, so I called the number which is not in service and the address is a residence. I was able to find out through lookup.icann.org/lookup that all these websites are coming from Vietnam. If you put in Charmin in the search bar a few of them pop up on Bing ads.

I was suckered in by the sootgear.site. I ordered prior to this article coming out. Wish I had known. Some hope as I used PayPal however Pay Pal closed my first complaint and I had to appeal the case which appeal is now pending, I found out that the listed phone number for sootgear.site is now disconnected and no longer is service. These Vietnam fraudsters sure do work fast setting up the phony sites then running
