Scamming - Fraud
If you are on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, or other social media websites and come across a post that invites you to get a $50 gift voucher to celebrate Chipotle's 50th Anniversary, please do not click on or follow the instructions in it. This is because the post is a clickbait scam. Remember, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Chipotle Mexican Grill was founded by Steve Ells on July 13, 1993, therefore, Chipotle would be 27 years-old this year, not 50. And, Chipotle has confirmed that an online ad offering $50.00 in free Chipotle is a scam, after dozens of people claimed to have already fallen for the stunt. Scammers rely on people to keep passing this on, so do not fall for the clickbait!

I didn't enter any personal information but I clicked the "continue" button on the site and it took me to their fb page ... what does this mean?
Received this obvious SCAM via Facebook Messenger from an old friend I haven't chatted with in years. Seemed outta place right from the start, so I googled and came up with bunches of info on this scam, which has been through several iterations starting back in 2018 apparently. Do not fall for this. Delete the message immediately and don't click on anything... Lord only knows what it'll actually link you to or open up on your device!
I clicked it and entered zip code but when it asked me to send it to 50 ppl, I realized the spelling was wrong. Not sure what to do to my phone? It took me to a messenger bot response. Not another link. I did a factory reset and sometimes my FB or messenger app closes on its own. Not sure what to do.
I received one today from a friend through FB Messenger.
