Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Summer is almost a month away and scammers are already taking advantage of it by creating fake online stores claiming to sell inflatable water slides. The fake stores steal pictures of waterslides from legitimate websites. The fake stores then attract potential victims to them by claiming to sell the same inflatable water slides for ridiculously low prices. But, once the victims make a purchase, they will never receive the water slides, although they were charged.
Remember, once something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Therefore, I recommend shopping on popular online stores, or research other stores carefully before making purchases on them.
But, if you are a victim of a fake Inflatable Water Slide store, open a dispute with your bank immediately. Provide your bank with as much information as possible. Your bank will investigate and refund your money, if they have determined the store is fraudulent.

I ordered a water slide, but received a $99 pair of socks! Easily disputed with my credit card that gave me a refund. Not sure how these crooks plan on making money if so easy to dispute?
