Scamming - Fraud
Just received a text message that claims I have a parcel from Currys and I should collect via Parcels4u. I got suspicious because I haven't ordered anything, so I looked up Parcel4u and found out the text message is a scam. Therefore, if you have received fake Parcels UK or ParcelsUK text messages, do not click on the link in them.
Parcel4u, the name in the fake text message, claims their name is being used by scammers. The following is a response from them:
"Please note we did not send the text to you! it is a scam! Scammers are using our name and sending text messages to people in UK and Australia.We have this information on our website and we have already informed this scam to fraud prevention in UK."

Just had a text from ParcelsUK checked on Royal Mail website and it’s fraudulent. Heads up everyone
Just received a message from Parcels UK ... made me question as I've not ordered anything... googled to find it's a scam
I've just received a text message from ParcelsUK informing me a parcel is pending confirmation with a handy link to proceed!
I have just received a text message from ParcelsUK and although I am waiting on a delivery, something about it made me check via Scam page first. Deleted message, links are seriously fishy.
I have also just received a text message claiming my package is pending my confirmation, whereas I am not expecting any parcels, text will be deleted, had a feeling it was a scam.
