Same message from Bethany at rd life. As I don’t know what rd life is check to see if spam, sure was so deleted

Hello, I am called Bethany and somebody has just received this message from my contact... I was just wondering if there is a number connected to the message you have received? Just need to figure out if my number has been hacker!

Hi, I had a text supposed to be from someone called Bethany. Only number I could find said internet number? 205636307

Had a text this morning from rdl.life. saying thank you for your participation. I was listed 2nd. Glad I didn't click the link!

just had a text as well saying the same glad I didn't click

I have also had the same text. Everyone is a winner according to them but I am sure if we click the link we will be the looser.

I’ve had the same message from Bethany.... I opened the text but did not click on the link,then deleted the message but now every time I try to access my messages, I’m automatically directed to her name with blank message and can’t delete it from my phone.bit worried.have tried turning phone off completely and restarted but still pops up as soon as I press message icon!! My advice is dont even open the message,let alone clicking the link.super shady!! 😡

It must have just gotten lucky. I got a text yesterday also from a "Bethany". Three places and three "participants" (James - Bracknell, Dave - Scunthorpe, and **** - Romford). I've left the last one blank, as I see you're in Romford and so I assume it got your name correct!

Anyway, none of these names are mine, and I don't live in any of these places, so I would be inclined to assume that it just got lucky in that it managed to get your name and place right.

HI there, received a text message less than 5 minutes ago from the very same person Bethany. The site do not open, I already checked with google.co.uk and also there is a video on youtube talking about this scam.

Like wise here. Exactly the same text. Binned it, best place.

Cheked Google first and deleted it.

I received same text I opened it as I enter a lot of messages. Didn’t give my credit card details so hope everything is ok.

I got exactly the same text with my name second. I received the text twice two hours apart

I have just received the same and My Daughter is called Bethany so I nearly clicked the link but then I wondered why all previous texts were not showing in the same message string, glad I checked it now. I have done way too much online shopping whilst on lockdown too so could be one of many companies that have sold on our info... stay aware folks xx

Exactly the same text, my name and location second. What bothers me is how they've linked my small village location to my phone number - I suspect this is an online retailer selling on delivery information. I've been getting spam texts since doing more online shopping during lockdown. If only I could pinpoint the retailer!

Funny - I received the same but with my name at no. 2 position. Pleased I checked before clicking as it did look rather suspicious!

Yes, exactly the same here. "Bethany" that sent it to me has clearly been busy with a lot of drawers.

Had correct location information for me. Wonder where they got it from??

I had the same 1st and 3rd names on my text.
