    • August 6, 2020 at 10:48 AM by an anonymous user from: Bradford, England, United Kingdom

It must have just gotten lucky. I got a text yesterday also from a "Bethany". Three places and three "participants" (James - Bracknell, Dave - Scunthorpe, and *** - Romford). I've left the last one blank, as I see you're in Romford and so I assume it got your name correct!

Anyway, none of these names are mine, and I don't live in any of these places, so I would be inclined to assume that it just got lucky in that it managed to get your name and place right.

    • August 6, 2020 at 6:07 AM by an anonymous user from: United Kingdom

Exactly the same text, my name and location second. What bothers me is how they've linked my small village location to my phone number - I suspect this is an online retailer selling on delivery information. I've been getting spam texts since doing more online shopping during lockdown. If only I could pinpoint the retailer!
