Online Threat Alerts (OTA)

The BMG Couriers text message below is a scam, therefore, if you have received it, do not follow the instructions in it. The fake text is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into calling them. I got the BMG Couriers text from 1-833-591-1935 and it ask me to contact 833-613-1927.

"Immediate response required for document delivery for (name of someone unknown to me) scheduled for 2/13/2021, Please contact BMG Couriers 833-613-1927..."

Text was sent to husband's phone with my maiden name.
Immediate response required for document delivery for *** scheduled for 2/24/2021, Please contact Couriers Services 833-239-1840 ref # 21-*** reply stop.

I just received the same thing but it had my maiden name on it. I haven't used that name in over 10 years...so I knew it was a scam. I responded with "stop. No one by that name at this number" and then I blocked them. What I told them is true because my maiden name is no longer my legal name. lol

I'm sure it's a scam so I blocked them

I recieved the same text as well. I did call and a lady answered and sent me over to someone named Mr. Williams. He had my info as well but couldn’t tell me what I owed. Big Scam.

One received this morning:

I almost got scared by the samething myself.

I almost fell for it hook line and sinker but thankfully I stopped
