The fake Amazon text message below, which asks recipients to call 1800749172 in order to dispute a purchase for an Apple MacBook Pro, is a scam. The fake text is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into contacting them at 1800749172, which is a fake Amazon helpline.

My wife got this text and called them back.. They had a lot of her credit card details and it appears that they may have hacked her paypal acccount to get them - all the cards, including a business card that isn't in her name were registered in there.. When she tried to log in to paypal, her PW has been changedIf you've received this text, try logging into your paypal and I'd recommend you change your password
Got one today as well...Thankfully did a quick search in Google that led me to this article.
