The "Geek Squad Subscription Renewal" scam below is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into calling the fake Geek Squad helpline number 1-844-452-3931. Therefore, recipients are asked not to call the fake telephone numbers. The legit Geek Squad telephone number is 1-800-433-5778.

I got this threat alert after the fact. The fact that I believed them and followed the instructions. What can I do; now, to protect myself / identity?
