Devon and Claire Beds Scam Text Message

Got a message about and order from you in the amount of $1918 and to call 12066499143. I did not place this order.

Mine is from 617 272-4680 says it's for $400 and to call 832 941-1873 if I didn't place the order

Mine was sent from 4158398017 and my number to contact was different as well.

They sent from 480-761-3904 with respond to number 832-914-1720

Now using 917 672-5225 as respond number,also calling from 408 703-8336.

Mine said $534 and the text came from an Oklahoma number!

Same. Text from 1-323-282-3453 asking me to call 1-833-848-2871 if I didn't make the purchase.

Just got this text, the phone number to call was 205-784-4695.

Same thing just happened here.

It referenced an order with Devon & Claire Beds and referred to calling an 803 (SC) number. My 4th & 5th Google hits for the bed company referenced scammers.
There're too many bad people in the world!

I got the same message, except the # to call was in a 803 (S.Carolina) area code.

Sent to my teen daughter’s phone. Said her Visa will be charged $567. She was smart enough to show me and realize it was a scam since she doesn’t own a Visa. I showed her this article, and she knows not to be scared now, just screenshot it to me.

I recieved a text like this with a phone #attached. I tapped on the number and when I got a person on the phone I just asked what is this about because I didnt place an order and the man kept saying mam we did not send you a text
I asked him then why did it call them when I hit on the #? I didnt give any info but I think I will call my bank just to make sure that nothing gets deducted

Yes scammers really try to scam you by using fear.

I just received a text message claiming that I have an auto payment from Devon and claims beds stating that I will be charged $1907 and they changed there number from the original post to now 8149073501 just for everyone else's knowledge.

They are also using the number 917-695-3248 to perpetuate the scam. Just block the text message. All numbers are likely spoofed anyway. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A TEXT OR AN EMAIL.

They are also using the number 832-998-8952 which comes up as 30 minute locksmith located down by Houston but if you keep scrolling it also says it belongs to 15 other individuals all with names you cannot pronounce All located in Houston

The scammers have changed their phone number. I called it to see what it was, and dispute the order, they hung up and blocked me.
325-999-8414 is the number that txt'd me. Claire and devons

I don't understand how people can be so clueless and fall for scams like this.. Get a loud whistle and start damaging some scammer eardrums..

I did receive this. Called the number. They asked lots of questions. I didn’t answer. Hung up on them. Thanks for alerting the public of this.

Just got this one on 1/13/23 at 9:30am central. Went immediately to research although I assumed it was a scam. Blocked and reported the number as spam through Verizon. Thanks!!

I got this message today (1-12-23) at around 5 pm central time. I immediately checked my bank acct because it's the only visa card I have and nothing reflects a charge of 466. so I came straight to research it and found this article as the first thing to show on Google.
