Student Loan Scam Calls from 8335014611 and 833 Area Code Telephone Numbers
Student Loan Scam Calls from 8335014611 and 833 Area Code Telephone Numbers

I received a call from 8335014611 but I didn’t answer, so they left a voice message. In the voice message, a lady said her name was Chloe with Student Support. She said that she wasn’t sure if I got the new notice or not about student loans, but that it’s very important that I contact her in regards to my student loan as I might be eligible for assistance in repaying. But, why would she refer to NSLSC as student assistance? NSLSC never calls, they send notices through the dashboard on our login. This seems to be a scam, beware.

Yeah so they have changed it up a little bit now. "Hey it's Chloe Davis with student support if you can just give me a call back when you receive this at 833-501-4611 I'm not sure if you received a notice that went out recently regarding your federal student loans and I do have you prequalified for repayment options especially for a possible loan discharge or the forgiveness program um it's just imperative I speak with you soon as possible before your status changes. I will keep it in pending status for now but if you have a few minutes I really just wanted to go over those details with you just in case again my phone number is 833-501-4611 thanks so much and I hope you have a great day."

I received multiple call from 838- number with the most recent call 4/5/2022 - 4:29 pm with the same voicemail script mentioned above.
I never have any student loan for the last 20 years so I know right away that it's a scam and did not bother to listen to the whole scripts.

Me too- called "Chloe" back at 838-834-3213- spoke to "Rose". After I gave my DOB and email address, they sent me a code to my phone which I read back to them- THEN I started getting suspicious so I hung up. "Rose" called me back from 949-264-3681 but her voicemail said to call her back at 855-240-0556. I changed my passwords immediately.

Same exact message left on my voicemail. Total scam as everyone here is getting the same pre-recorded message. BTW this call came from 845-852-9882

I got a call from Chloe too. I called back. I was told that it busy and I needed to call back in 10 minutes. So I searched for the phone number 833-502-4588. I found this information. I want to let others know it is probably a scam.

Me too. When I tried to call back it kept hanging up on me. I was hesitant because I’m pretty sure I don’t qualify for loan forgiveness. Her name was Chloeand she said the same thing to me. My provider would have sent me this information not called me.

My caller used the same name but this number 833-501-4588, and when I called the number back on my office phone(DO NOT USE THE NUMBER THEY CONTACTED YOU ON) the number was disconnected. This isn't the first time, I also had a women call with the name Melissa with a 855-567-0095 number and the voicemail left was identical to the other. My phone didn't ring for either number but there was a voicemail. Also I've noticed that when the woman is introducing herself in the voicemail it always sounds like a CD skipping, or am I going crazy?

Got the same call from same name and #. I have no student loans they’ve all been paid off. When I called and followed the prompt it repeated itself and ended up hanging up on me.

This so-called student loan call was the funniest today ! I’m guessing these scammers are getting pretty desperate cuz I’ve never applied for a student loan. Interesting enough this call comes in as 934 945 9643 and this woman leaves the warmest southern voice mail asking I call her back. Everyone remember these calls are sinister however CALLING THEM BACK, WORSE THING TO DO. Nice try scammer, get a real d**n job !

I got the same voicemail and I haven’t even pulled loans out yet. So I assumed it was a scam but I also should be in the process of getting my loans and scholarships all figured out for the fall, so I thought, maybe this has to do with me running out of time to set up my loans? But now that I looked it up and found this page it’s obviously a scam

I got this call too. The funny thing is I haven't been in school for 20 years. It's a scam I called the number and hit 9 to get on their do not call list. Don't fall for it.

Same call too. My voicemail was the sweetest sounding southern scammer. Acting so personable about a supposed student loan.

Delete

by an anonymous user from: Downtown Redmond, Redmond, Washington, United States

I have also received the same exact message and it doesn’t seem to make sense considering the person doesn’t say specific or who they are trying to reach. My voicemail also started in the middle of a sentence so I think the scam glitched when sending my voicemail.

I agree with this being a scam, got the same call but unlike you I don't even have any student loans so it's definitely a scam.

Just received this exact call from a CHloe as well.

I got an almost identical call. the beginning and ending of the voicemail cut off mid sentence. and I literally don’t even have any student loans so it’s clearly a scam
