Wantyourdyson Scam - Dyson V11 Scam Text Message From 561-946-8414

Scammers are sending the Wantyourdyson parcel or package scam text message below to potential victims from 561-946-8414 with a link to the phishing website youhaveanitem.com. The scam text message claims recipients have a parcel containing a Dyson V11 product that cannot be delivered unless the outstanding tax balance is paid. Recipients are then asked to click a link to the phishing website, which will take them to a phishing or fake USPS website that will ask them to make a payment.

The Wantyourdyson Scam Text Message

Delivery Pending: Hi, your package containing tracking number 9438561UF7 is waiting for you to confirm the shipment address: dysonreadyforyou.com/4u66k2f

If the requested payment information is submitted on the phishing website, it will be sent to the scammers, who will use it fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked into submitting your financial information by the same scam, please contact your bank for help.

If you have received a similar scam text message, please do not follow the instructions in it. Post it along with the telephone number it came from in a comment below to help inform others, then delete it.

I got the text from 561-429-0532. included a tracking number and said I had to confirm shipment location. I did not order a dyson but had been searching for one online.

I got the message from 561-429-0739. Claimed my Dyson couldn't be delivered. Weird thing is Dyson is actually shipping me something for real. How did the scammer know?/. or was it blind luck
