The Back2Work Deposit scam text below from telephone number 909-997-9228, which claims a deposit is now available for the recipients, is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick the recipients into clicking the link in it that goes to a phishing website that steals personal and financial information.
INDIANA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT: Your Back2Work deposit of $2,800.00 is now available, click on [LINK] to receive payment.
Any information submitted on the phishing website will be used fraudulently, therefore, if you were tricked into submitting financial information by the Back2Work Deposit scam, please contact your bank for help. Let your bank know that you unknowingly submitted your credit card and other information to a phishing website.
