A Navy Federal Credit Union scam text like the one below asking potential victims to call 888 855 4830 because their cards have been blocked, is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to frighten and trick their potential victims into calling the fake Navy Federal Credit Union customer care telephone number.
If the fake Navy Federal Credit Union telephone number (8888554830) is called, the caller will be instructed by a recording to enter their card number and other personal information to unblock their card. If the requested information is submitted, it will be used fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked by the scam text into disclosing your card information, please contact Navy Federal Credit Union for help.
