PGA National Resort 833-217-3754 Text Message Scam

If you received a text message claiming to be from PGA National Resort asking for a callback for payment verification, or to fix a "pending reservation", it is a scam. It seems scammers are actively hacking or exploiting hotel and resort reservation databases to obtain real guest details, including your name, check-in dates, and confirmation numbers. They then use the stolen information to send convincing phishing texts with a fake customer support telephone number asking recipients to call it for help, verification or cancellation.

How the Scam Works

The Hook: You get a text or message claiming your reservation at PGA National Resort is "pending verification," "at risk of cancellation," or needs credit card re-confirmation.
Real Details Used: The message often includes your actual stay dates or confirmation number to trick you into trusting it.
The Trap: They ask you to call a fake customer service telephone number (833-217-3754) to "verify" or re-enter payment/credit card information.
