It was a pop-up that suggested I attempt to register in order to win an iPhone. I was unable to continue as the pop-up froze my connection. I've been getting these pop-up on my PC and thought I'd infected my iPad. I came out of Wi-Fi and restarted the iPad which seems to have sorted the problem

I get a pop up - saying www.mobmessage.com

Select Settings, select Safari, select 'clear history' and select 'clear cookies and data'. This will clear the pop up.

Perform iOS Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
