Is Vanguard Talent Partners a Scam at vanguardtalentpartners.com?
Is Vanguard Talent Partners a Scam at vanguardtalentpartners.com?

Can anyone tell me if Vanguard Talent Partners is a scam or a legitimate website? They claim to have been around since 1988 and have 30 years of expertise in the executive search and placement field. But, their website or domain name was registered for the first time 18 days ago, on May 22, 2023. This makes the website suspicious and untrustworthy.

all of the above. No presence for any of the "recruiters" or the firm on linked in and the icing on the cake is they have set up identical websites at prestigecruit.com and vanguardtalentparters.com - except the names on the bios are different on the About Us page. But the pictures are still the same. Amateur.

I agree. Had the same experience. When sending an email to the person who contacted me, I got "mailbox is full". What a scam.

The office address on their website is vacant and available for lease.

Am having the same experience as noted above. The same issue with not being able to upload my resume, and when replying to an email from them it keeps bouncing back. I too could not find any record of them or their named staff/partners on LinkedIn, which is where they supposedly found me....

Solely through email they are trying to interest me in a job that cannot be discussed until I have my resume reviewed by elieteresumeco.com. Apparently my resume is not compatible with their "applicant tracking system", although my resume is a word document. I noticed the same markers about this company - including employees that are not listed on Linkedin. Just does not feel legitimate, but they have put some serious effort into this scam.

This is a long running scam. I get it 2-3 times a year and now always ignore “senior” level jobs with no background at all. They want to charge you to fix your resume as it will not work with their ATS system.

Agreed this is likely a scam. I just received an email from "Richard Thompson" from this company. Neither he, nor the company exist on LinkedIn. The company does not exist on D&B Hoovers or Crunchbase. All this, and the domain was just registered as the OP states, screams SCAM!!!

I looked at their website and the wording all looks like it was written by Chatgpt. They just keep saying the same few sentences over and over again but don't really tell you much. They won't tell you about any jobs until you send a resume which to me is a red flag too.

Looks like a scam to me. Not one executive recruiter listed has any history or listed on LinkedIn…. I can go on but it just looks like another fabricated scam. Run while you can.
