deltaairlines.m delta.com Suspicious Email

I received an email which appears to be from Delta with the address deltaairlines.m@delta.com, giving me a weather report for "my" upcoming flight (no I don't have an upcoming flight) In the preview or re line it gave me a confirmation number of F6RUSE and my first and middle names only.

Does anyone has any information about the suspicious email. I am wondering if it is scam where scammers spoof Delta's legitimate email address.

Keep getting email notices from Delta Airlines about an upcoming flight schedule change. Although I am accostumed to getting these notices, I am not familiar with the sender address as: deltaairlines.m@delta.com.
I've tried the chat with Delta, but the representatives have no answer. We just go aroud in circles with me describing the email and them not addressing my actual question...
