Scam and Hoax - "CNN Breaking News AirAsia Flight QZ8501 Found in Tacloban Phillippines"

The social media post below: "CNN: Breaking News AirAsia Flight QZ8501 Found in Tacloban, Phillippines," is another Facebook video survey scam and hoax, which claims that CNN has reported that the AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has been found in Tacloban, Philippines. But, this is a fake CNN news report and a scam that will trick you into 'liking', sharing or completing surveys, which it claims you have to do in order to watch the video of the fake news report. But, there is no video, so do not be fooled into completing the surveys, liking or sharing it. It is sad that cyber-criminals are taking advantage of the tragic disappearance of AirAsia Flight QZ8501.

As at the writing of this article, they have not found the missing plane of AirAsia Flight QZ8501 and the plane in the photo above is not it. The plane is another AirAsia plane that skidded off a runway back in 2011.

If the missing plane was found it would be all over the major news stations. So, never complete surveys, share or comment on a post in order to view a video. If you are asked to do so, someone is attempting to scam you.
