The message below, which claims that Viber, an application that lets you send free messages as well as make free calls to other Viber users, will start charging a fee for their services, is a hoax or is not true. The hoax claims that if you send the message to 10 of your contacts, Viber will determine that you are an active user and your service will remain free.
But, that is just silly, because Viber will never ask its users to send messages to their contacts, in order to determine if they are active users. Just by using Viber, they will be able to determine if you are an active user. So, if you have received messages claiming that you need to send them to your contacts, in order to have your Viber service remain free, or for any other Viber related activities, please delete the message. And, never follow the instructions in them.

Viber should issue their official stand on this issue. Will it remain free or not. Viber can send this to all their users.
