PayPal Phishing Scam - Funds transfer confirmation

The email message below: "Funds transfer confirmation," which claims that PayPal records show that the recipients requested a funds transfer from their PayPal accounts to a non-UK account, is a phishing scam. The fake email message was created by cyber-criminals to trick the recipients into clicking on the link within it. The link will take them to fake PayPal website that will steal their PayPal username and password, if they attempt to sign in from it.

For persons who have already fallen victim to the phishing scam, please change your PayPal password immediately and check your account for any discrepancies.

From: credit-report@credit.com
Subject: Funds transfer confirmation.

Our records show you requested a funds transfer from your PayPal account to a non-UK account on 11/06/2015 .

The following summarizes the transfer:

Amount: $16.40 GBP

No action is necessary unless this activity occurred without your knowledge or permission.

In case you did not authorize the transfer , Sign In and identify yourself to cancel the payment.
