Phishing Scam - Important Message Alert  - Mobit - Faysal Mobile Banking

The email message below: "Important Message Alert : Mobit - Faysal Mobile Banking," which claims that the recipients' Mobit Faysal mobile banking access need to be updated, is a phishing scam. The fake email message was sent by cyber-criminals to trick the recipients into clicking on the link within it that will take them to a fake MOBIT Faysal website.

Faysal Mobile Banking - Faysal Bank.

If the recipients, who have clicked on the link, enter their MOBIT Faysal banking credentials or username/password, it will be sent to the cybercriminals who have sent the fake email message, who will use the information to gain access to their victims’ accounts. Once the cyber-criminals have access to their victims’ accounts, they will steal their money and use the accounts fraudulently.

So, recipients of the fake email message who have followed the instructions in it, are asked to change your MOBIT Faysal banking password and contact Faysal Bank.
