Thousands of computer users download and install malicious and unwanted web browser toolbars every day. Some are tricked into downloading the malicious toolbars, while others download free software that install the toolbars with/without their consent. Malicious toolbars can steal the computer users' personal and financial information when they use social networking websites, check their emails and do online banking.

The bad toolbars will also hijack the computer users’ web browsers, displaying annoying pop-up advertisements and redirect computer users to malicious websites, which will infect their computers with viruses, Trojan horse, and other malware.

Luckily, for computer users who have unknowingly download and install malicious toolbars, they can use a very small and effective program called AdwCleaner, which will wipe their computers clean of dangerous and unwanted toolbars.
