Had the same thing happen... called and cancelled card. Unbelievable

Yes, I ordered a pair of UGGS on sale, so I thought, and I ended up with complete and total fakes. Now I am dealing with my Credit Card company to refund my money.

Their website is down so I can’t print their pics or info and I have to provide a letter from an “expert” saying that the boots that I bought were not what I ordered. I took pictures of the real deal at Nordstrom’s to show what they are supposed to look like and then what I ended up buying... cancelled my card, etc.

I ordered UGG boots also and never got a shipping time frame so I called the customer service number given on the website and got a recording from another company saying calbess was using their number fraudulently. Boots were $76 but my debit card was charged $88. I called my bank and had my card cancelled immediately so no other charges would be made and because I called right after purchase I will get my money back. Blessed for that to be sure and lesson learned. Wish there was a flag that would pop up when trying to order from this company!

On 12-15-17. Placed an order for Ugg Boots so I just realized I got scammed! Bad people, now I don' t have a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. Bad People.

I ordered UGG Boots yesterday and didn’t get a confirmation email so that made me a bit suspicious so I emailed them to ask and they said it would take 10 to 15 days to ship which was too long a wait for me since I’m in California where they claim to be.

So I saw they charged my card today more than I was told they would and it looked like it was from China. I emailed them once I came upon your alert that it’s a fraudulent website and requested to cancel my order. Then called my bank to cancel my credit card. Haven’t heard from them yet, but thanks for confirming my suspicions!

Just had the same issue. Placed an order and did not receive a confirmation. Got an email requesting address verification with a 10-15 day shipping timeframe. I immediately called and emailed to cancel the order as I thought, according to their website that they were based in California.

They responded in very broken English that it was possible to cancel but that I would lose almost 50% of my money due to fees, order placed with the vendor and shipping cost. I emailed back that they had not shipped anything and that I wanted to cancel. They responded again saying that I could cancel but would only receive 85% of the charges back. BIG SCAM.

I checked my credit card and noticed that I had been charged twice from this company for two different amounts with foreign transaction fees. I have subsequently disputed the charges with my credit card company.

Buyer Beware. This company sucks and should be blacklisted or shut down!

I also attempted to purchase uggs on this website. The charge was for more than the stated price. Immediately my credit card company flagged it. They told me the charge was coming from China. They stopped it from going through but now I wonder if they'll try again. Lesson learned: if the price is too good from a random website, it's probably too good to be true.

I also bought UGG boots for my wife. I saw on the calbess website they listed the UGG outlet store address in Camarillio CA. I tried to cancel the order via email the next day, but no response from calbess. I cancelled my debit card that I used for the purchase and you should as well if you bought anything from this website. I don't think I will be getting my $$ back as I should have used a credit card and NOT my debit card for this order. The boots listed on their website were around $77, but I see almost $90 was debited from my checking account for this transaction.

lesson learned... do not use a debit card for online purchases.

"I logged onto Calbess.com to purchase UGGS for my daughter for christmas. once order was placed i recieve conformation but not merchant info. Shortly after i recieve WELCOME TO STORE 1.

    along with this email address:418969959@qq.com

then the internet payment transaction declaration

The exact same thing happened to me. But did they continue to use your card?

      • December 19, 2017 at 3:47 PM by an anonymous user from: Fountain Valley, California, United States

I cancelled my debit card the day after the purchase once I realized the site was not selling anything. My fear was they would use my card since they now had my card number and ccv code. So I took the safe option and called my bank to cancel my debit card and get a new one. I called the UGG outlet store that was listed as the address on the calbess.com website and they said they get at least 2 to 3 calls a day from customers that are scammed by this site and either do not get anything or get a product so poor that it is unusable. If you do get any UGG boots, they will for sure be a knock off and not true ugg's.
