Therefore, recipients of the same email which claim they have won a grant are asked to delete it because it is being sent by online scammers. The aim of the scammers is to deceive their potential victims into thinking they are from the British government, but they are NOT! The British government would NEVER ask the public for money or personal information via email for any reason to claim a grant, donation, or award.
