Scamming - Fraud
Website or domain name owners be aware of fraudulent Chinese domain name registration email messages like the one below that came from the fake website "www.dshn-cloud.cn". The fraudulent email messages should not be responded to, especially with personal or financial information. And, the instructions in the same fraudulent email messages should not be followed. Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers to trick website owners into paying them for a fraudulent service, which the scammers claim will be used to purchase their Chinese (.CN) domain names.

This "Jerry Chan" sure is busy! Got the same exact wording as in the dshn-cloud.cn example above, but from a different address (@mopoip.org.cn) and with a different Chinese company. Boilerplate for sure.Interesting that the initial email starts out soft - no direct ploy for money. Probably comes later, if you engage. Sneaky b*st*rds...Thanks for this post. I'll bookmark your site for the next time I need to confirm a hoax.
