The Argos Refund Request Phishing Scam

The fake "Argos Refund Request" text message below is a phishing scam being sent to cybercriminals. The link in the fake email goes to a phishing website that will ask visitors to sign-in. If the visitors attempt to sign-in, their Argos' credential will be sent to the cybercriminals behind the phishing scam. Once the cybercriminals have gotten hold of the stolen credentials, they will use it to gain access to their victims' accounts and use the accounts fraudulently.

This is why it is important that Argos customers go directly to www.argos.co.uk and sign into their accounts from there. Once they have signed into their accounts, they will be alerted of important changes or notifications.

Argos customers who have already been tricked are asked to contact Argos for help.
