A few persons have told me that they have received Social Security scam telephone calls from an 822 area code. If you have received calls from area code 822, please share experiences with me by leaving a comment below. Area code 822 is a toll-free area code reserved for future use in the United States and Canada, but it seems as if its currently in use or being spoofed.

1 (822) 695-620 I got a call from this number. They left a voicemail in Korean or Chinese and it was definitely a recording from a sound recording off another device
I received a text about funds being transferred,
I'm now getting about 6 dam calls a day and it's passing me the f off
Having about10 plus calls per day from 822-999-xxxxHow can they be stopped?

I have gotten 5 Social Security scam calls since 11:22 this morning (August 6 2019) with a recorded voice claiming "suspicious activity" has been found on my account, then directing me to press 5 (which I have not done). Here are the numbers that have called:822-091-5775822 847-4846822 528-5032822 860-1951822 561-5495
Non-stop all day. Social security scam!
