Dot Compliance Group Scam: DotService.com

The DOT Service is a scam, especially important for those with farms or businesses that have vehicles with DOT numbers. Several citizens have recently received letters with the letterhead of "DotService.com" in the letter, the scammer’s tell you that your DOT number is not updated and must be or you can be fined $1,000/day and possible deactivation of your DOT#. The scammers then request you log in to a website and provide your credit card.

The Wisconsin DMV has confirmed this is not legit. This is not affiliated with DOT and is not the proper way to update your DOT number.
