4422850125 Scam Text Message to Call Same Telephone Number

The fake "ATT Unsuccessful Payment" text message below that claims the recipients' payment was unsuccessful or is on hold, and ask them to call telephone number 442-285-0125, is a scam. The fake message is being sent by scammers who are attempting to steal their potential victims' personal and financial information.

    I also got a text that my AT&T payment was unsuccessful and to call 445-285-0125. I thought the text was a little different from AT&T's texts so I did not respond so I called my back and was told there was no problem. I am wondering if AT&T got hacked and thats how they got my number? Else how did they know I was an AT&T customer?

      Even I got two text messages from the number 1-410-200-500 to call back on 4422850125.
