I have had a similar experience with Simplco. They are a scam. Am in the process of exposing them as best I can. None of the contact information (all came from Pay Pal) is legit. I did a dispute with PayPal and they rejected it. Trying to see if they will let me escalate to a claim. I have my doubts. I have not used PayPal before. I thought they were supposed to hold your money until the item/s was received and the buyer okayed release of payment. The very next day it was showing a charge from PayPal to my credit card. Guess I had that wrong. You would think PayPal would at least vet their sellers. I'll not use then again. I will forgo buying an item rather than using PayPal. Got in touch with USPS which was the delivery service being used. They could verify the tracking number I gave them, but the package was not sent to my address (they could not tell me the address) and weighed 13oz. My package would have weighed 25#. Tracking history showed the "package" had started moving on July 22nd. I didn't even order it until July 27th. Showed being delivered that same day. I'm as ticked off with PayPal as I am with Simplco.
Did you get your money back from PayPal? I ordered an Iron for $89 July 28th. Paid on PayPal. Trying to decide what to do.Debby H...
This is a scam site. I purchased bumper weight plates that were below costs I found elsewhere and upon purchase through paypal I found that the seller's paypal email was a fake and they provided me with a fake tracking number. Upon further investigation, the address for the site is a single-family house in California and the phone contact number is a Georgia number. The item had came up in my google shopping search but it is a scam site! Do not buy from here. Since I used paypal I'm just hoping I can get my money back.
Yes, it is a SCAM!!!! I ordered a chest freezer they were advertising for $98.90!! Thank God for pay pal I WILL get my money back!! BEWARE !!!
This website 100% scam. They gave me a fake tracking #. Opened dispute with PayPal. Hope will get my money back
I bought a Vornado fan that was 33% below anyone else's online price. They confirmed a package weighing less than 1 lbs delivered for a fan weighing over 7 lbs which I never received. The phone # on the site doesn't work. What a SCAM!
I noticed that the phone number was a Georgia number and the address was a California one. I did a Google search for a coffee table. That furniture I was looking for was extremely lower than furniture store prices. When I went on the site, I was not able to do a search and find that particular furniture nor any other furniture. All I could find were pillows.
I googled a sofa table and the site displayed the coffee table at way less than other stores. When I went to the website, all I saw selling were pillows. I also looked at the address and phone number which were two entirely different states on two opposite sides of the US. One was for Georgia Anda mailing address was California. I got really suspicious and decided to do research.
Was looking for an Admiral Mitre saw and this site pop up. $100.00 less than Harbor Freight's price. Ran a search for the saw on Simplco site and the item did not exist.
I almost fell for this website. I Googled an item which led to the site. I immediately became suspicious because all they sell is pillows, and I was buying a rain barrel. I checked out the address of the so-called "store" and its a house in California. I immediately canceled my credit card.
I *almost* bought a chest deep freeze. The price just seemed a little too good to be true. Glad I listened to my gut
