Appreciate these online reporting systems. Oct 6, 2022, just received a similar Pay Pal billing notice. Number to call 833-511-0568Didn't call, recognized it was most likely a scam, but did due diligence and review all relevant accounts.
I just got sent the exact same email asking me to pay $1200. Scammers
I also received an invoice for a purchase of Binance Coin. At the bottom it says if you do not request this transaction please call *** that number and we will cancel the invoice.When I called the number they answered it as PayPal customer service personnel and instructed that the transaction came from DB Cooper (yeh, that DB Cooper) and in an order to block DB Cooper that I needed to download an app where they could access everything in my phone and they would do the blocking for me then they wanted me to go to Amazon and purchase an xbox $70 gift card and approve that transaction. I knew it was a scam but I let him keep going and going until finally I told him I'm going to have to look into this further and That's the number I called and the other numbers he gave me were all scam numbers as reported. He said his name was Kim Rogers And you had a Middle Eastern accent not to mention the power quality of the phone cutting in-and-out.I Kept him on the phone for a good 45 minutes. You could tell by the end of the 45 minutes he was getting frustrated because I wouldn't do as he was asking Me Too! And I kept saying this doesn't seem right and he kept trying to talk me in too that this is all on a recorded line and yadI yadi. I then reported it all to PayPal and it indeed was a scam and phishing. So be careful out there.
