BBT Update on Your Checking Account Scam

The fake BBT email below, which claims someone has used the recipients' account from different locations, is a scam. The fake email is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a fake BBT website that will ask visitors to sign in. But, any attempt to sign in will send the visitors' credentials to the online scammers. The scammers will then use the stolen credentials to gain access to their potential victims' accounts and use them fraudulently.
