Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
The fake Big Cartel email below, which claims the recipients' subscription has been canceled, is a scam. The fake email is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a fake Bigcartel website that will ask visitors to sign in. But, any attempt to sign in will send the visitors' credentials to the online scammers. The scammers will then use the stolen credentials to gain access to their potential victims' accounts and use them fraudulently.
