The Netflix text scam below, which claims the recipients should update their membership with Netflix to continue watching, is being sent by scammers. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in it. If you want to know if there are some actions that need to be taken on your Netflix account, always go directly to netflix.com and sign in to your account. After signing in, you will be notified if there is anything that needs to be done.

Got a fake Netflix message on Netflix hxxps://myservice-netflix.com/?pwd=caNETFLIX : Access to your netflix has been limited.hxxps://myservice-netflix.com/?pwd=ca some guy sent me that message on messaging today hoping I would click on it so he can steal my personal info I did not click on it I know it was a scam.
"Netflix: Your payment was declined. You can update your info here: https://bit.ly3p0TCem If we were unable to charge your payment method, we will cancel the service. Send STOP to opt-out."Watch out for poor grammar and suspicious URLs. Companies like Netflix only send out perfect messages that have been triple checked by language experts. This message uses "info" where a real message would have the full word and it also uses the wrong tense with "were" where it should say "are". Keep in mind that big companies have a legal obligation to give you fair time to communicate before they can cancel your contract for non-payment.

If it was originally sent by Netflix or any other like Hulu or VUDU/Fandango the click on line would be from the sender it was sent from ! Most of the time if you get a message from a provider it will tell you to log into your account and don't respond to the text or email because it was an automated message sent to you
Yes, I’ve gotten a number of them this week but my account is in good standing. I block and delete without opening.
I have received two texts claiming to be from netflix requesting that I update my membership. I have deleted both without consequence or my account being deactivated.
I received a text that said please update your membership to keep watching. I did click the included link and it took me to a website that has many similar looks as the Netflix login. The website name does not contain Netflix. number was 16194467575 don't fall for it. Thank you for making this website I almost went full out and put my info in!!

This scam text message says Netflix: Please update your membership with us to continue watching. Efvvu13.com/d9ToJTtel0. It came from this phone number: 1-253 326-0752. Definitely frustrating to get these scam texts. Thanks for posting this info so I could confirm it was not from Netflix.

Have received 3 texts this month say to update membership to Netflix to continue watching on Netflix. Don’t have the dates because I delete them when I get them. I am always suspicious of receiving text messages about products or services. I went to Netflix website to check my account
