I keep getting the Comenity Bank scam text messages below asking me to call 877-213-6644. The link goes to Comenity Bank's website but I am not familiar with the telephone number. Therefore, I recommend that recipients of the same text messages call the bank using the telephone number on their card to verify the legitimacy of the text messages.

They even say the company you have a card with sometimes, but don't fall for it; just block.
If you have questions, call the actual store.
Not the number they provide, etc.

I keep getting this text as well. Also noticed bad punctuation. I have blocked the number to no avail.

Punctuation is wrong along with syntax. They use possessive instead of contraction form. I don't want to spell it out in case the scamsters monitor this site and make improvements to their scam language. Unfortunately most Americans will probably not recognize errors. Who gives a soft poo about syntax and punctuation these days!

I am receiving same and when I call they have the right information of amount due, but insist on only receiving debit card for payment. I have never heard of such a requirement, when I said that the text message seemed like a scam since they had never tried reaching me - the rep on the call agreed w/me. VERY strange I hung up and called the number of the company directly
