I got an notice by email from Norton Symantec saying I was about to billed for a $550 renewal of their products (which I haven't paid for in years). There was a phone number on it, so I called and got an actual person who said he would check into it for me. While I was on hold, Google informed me that this is a new scam and I could expect them to ask to remote in to my PC. I waited, and sure enough, the guy started asking me about remote connection. Now, I would never have allowed him to remote in regardless, but how ironic that's exactly what happened. All he heard was a *CLICK* on my end. Just goes to show - if something doesn't feel right, there's a reason. More From OTA Check the comment section below for answers or additional information.
