• Identity Theft or Compromised Credentials: Call 1-877-762-7256
• General Fraud, Insurance Fraud, or Main Customer Support: Call 1-800-531-8722 (or dial #USAA from your mobile phone).

Critical Scam Warning

If you received an unexpected call or text message from someone claiming to be from the USAA Fraud Department, hang up immediately and dial one of the verified numbers above or the number printed on the back of your card.

Scammers frequently spoof USAA phone numbers so that your caller ID displays "USAA". They will falsely claim there is a "fraudulent charge" on your account and ask you to provide your password, PIN, or a one-time verification code. USAA will never call you to ask for this information.

• Suspicious Emails: Do not click any links. Forward them directly to abuse@usaa.com
• Suspicious Texts: Forward questionable text messages to 7726 (SPAM).
• Online/App Reporting: You can safely log into the official USAA Mobile App or website to freeze your cards and file a dispute instantly.
