Robinhood Scam Text and Customer Support
Robinhood Scam Text and Customer Support

There are fake "Robinhood Security Alert" scam text messages attempting to trick recipients into calling a fake customer support telephone number. The numbers are part of a scam call center operated by scammers, who will trick potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal, and financial information. This information will then be used fraudulently.

The Robinhood Text Scam

"Robinhood Security Alert: Your withdrawal code is 318475. Do not share this code. If this wasn't you, contact support immediately at +1(888) 708-5771. REF: PRL91746"

"Robinhood Update: New phone number added to your account successfully. Unauthorized? Contact (929) 224-7216 immediately if not you."

You should only contact Robinhood Support through the app or on the web at robinhood.com/contact. When you connect to Robinhood Support through chat or email, they will NEVER ask you for any account login details. Don't search for or use Robinhood phone numbers found through an internet browser, as they may be fraudulent and part of a scam.

If you receive a text message claiming to be from Robinhood about "suspicious activity" or a "new device login" that instructs you to call a number or click a link, it is a phishing scam. Robinhood does not have a direct-dial support phone number and will never send links via text for security alerts.
