Beware of "Kmart Ltd Job Offer‏ That Requires You to Shop and Evaluate Employees" Phishing Scams

The email message below, which claims that Kmart Ltd has a job opening and needs the recipients to join their team to shop and evaluate employees, is a phishing scam sent by cybercriminals to steal the recipients’ personal information. The link in the email message goes to a phishing or fake website that requests personal information. Once the requested information is submitted on the fake Kmart Ltd website, it will be sent to the cybercriminals.information harvested by phishing scams are used by cybercriminals to scam their potential victims. Therefore, recipients of the same email message are asked to delete and not follow the instructions in it.

The job requires you to shop and evaluate our employees. You will get paid to shop and keep the products.

The link in the phishing email message goes to a phishing website with the instructions below that should never be followed.

Instructions on the Fraudulent Kmart Ltd Website

Kmart Shopper is the agency responsible of the treatment and the rights of clients, serving across all the United States.

On top of being paid for shopping you are also allowed to keep purchases for free. Kmart Shopper NEVER charge fees to the shopper.

Training, tips for improvement, and shopping opportunities are provided free to registered shoppers.

Kmart Shoppers are either paid a pre-arranged fee for a particular shop, a reimbursement for a purchase or a combination of both.

You are to shop secretly and invest just a token. This fee will be paid upfront. During this shop you will visit the location and make several observations as regards the customer service.

No upfront fee required.

Job Details.

1) Shopping evaluation : You will receive a form that you are required to fill after you visit any location in your area, You will be evaluating and shopping at your desired mall.
2) You are required to evaluate its customer service and quality control after their services are rendered to you.
3) You would require filling a form to rate the employee(s), the form would be given to you after the assignment evaluation.
4) You will be required to interact with the shop clerk.
5) You will earn the minimum of $400 weekly by working as Kmart Shopper for us and your weekly pay would increase as we have verified you are capable.

Your employment packet includes Shopping evaluation form, a training assignment which we will be sending to you after you received payment for the assignment.

    The mystery shopper scam is common, but what this one does is steal FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT by sending you a fake check, telling you to cash it & send $X back to them in a money order.

    NEVER CASH A CHECK FOR ANYONE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW!! And never put a check into your account if they want you to send them funds!! That's a signal to you SCAM FRAUD SCAM FRAUD!!
