"Samsung Galaxy IAP C0ntest" is a Lottery Scam

Scammers are sending out the fake text and email message below, which claims that the recipients are winners of a Galaxy S7 smartphone or other Samsung electronics in the "Samsung Galaxy IAP C0ntest." But, there is no such "Samsung Galaxy IAP" contest, lottery, promotion, or offer. The message is just another lottery scam that is being used by scammers to trick people into sending them their personal information and money, which the scammers claim their potential victims must do in order to receive their so-called prizes. Therefore, recipients of the fake "Samsung Galaxy IAP Contest" message should delete it and should never follow the instructions in it.

      I got the same message from BZ-698576:

      "YOUR CELL NUMBER HAS EMERGED WINNER OF 90LAKH & GALAXY PHONE IN SAMSUNG GALAXY IAP CONTEST,SEND YOUR NAME,ADD,S*X,AGE,CELL NO TO:companysamsung@englandmail.com"

      Then I mail my name,add,s*x,cell no

      "Attention!Kindly check your email for the arrival of our agent Steven Cold to your country India tomorrow from Samsung Company UK,Call for detail: 447849946669"

      Then A man called me & told me

      "He is steven cold agent of samsung company im in international airport newdelhi.he came here to give my winning prize 90lakh & a galaxy phone.Firstly I want to give them 10,300rupees then they will give my winning prize.

      Then asked:you can include the 10300 rupees from that winning prize then they told me:that's not possible,winning prize is in a chekk.Can you pay this"

      I told him: I will call you later.

        Do not send your money to the thieves or scammers. Delete the emails from them and just be careful next time.

      It is a scam or it is a fake. There is no such lottery. Please do not send your information to the lottery scammers, or send them your hard-earn money.
